Student Spotlight on:

Karissa Horton

Current student of North State Independence H.S.

Karissa Horton is currently a junior at North State and she will be graduating this year. Karissa has been a student at North State since 9th grade (she came straight to North State from 8th grade at Parsons). She has maintained a exemplary grades throughout her entire high school career. As a result, she has been accepted to both UC Davis and California State University at Sacramento, where she will be starting in the fall of ‘06. Karissa has participated in Student Government and also is very active in her church. She was in the senior division of the Bible quizzing tournament and won 1st Place.
